Meet our Board of Education
Board members are elected to a four year term with an election being held on non-general election years.  Board members are term limited after serving their second full term.

Linda Lattin was elected to the Board in 2005.  As a long-time resident, she has been active in the community.  As a local business manager, Mrs. Lattin provides valuable analytical skills.  She serves on the Board's District Review Committee as the Board's repesentative.


Mrs. Lattin's term will expire in 2013 at which point she will be term-limited.

Ken Fox

Director District #4
Ken Fox was appointed to the Board in 2005 and reelected in 2007.  He currently serves as the Board's representative to the San Juan Board of Cooperative Educational Services.  Mr. Fox is a former Archuleta County Commissioner and is very involved in the schools through his wife, daughter and grandchildren.

Mr. Fox's term will expire in 2011.

Joanne Irons was elected to the Board in 2007 and serves as the District Accreditation and Accountability Committee Representative for the Board.  Mrs. Irons is a very active volunteer throughout the community and was named Volunteer of the Year for 2006 and 2010.


Mrs. Iron's term expires in 2011

Peter Kasper
Director District # 1
Peter was appointed to the Board in September 2011.  

Mr. Kasper's term expires 2013

Greg Schick
Director District # 3
Greg Schick was appointed to the Board in October 2009.  Mr. Schick is a Pagosa Springs graduate, has served as a coach for the Pagosa Springs High School Basketball team, and owns and operates a veterinary business in Pagosa.  


 Mr. Schick's term expires 2011
